A heavy layer of powder, for instance, will creep into and accentuate tiny lines and wrinkles by noontime. Instead, I suggest this system for maintaining a youthful glow.
MORNING-Apply liquid foundation (smoothed on with a damp sponge), apply concealer (dabbed on under-eye circles and other darker-pigmented areas only) and blush.
Apply powder foundation lightly and intermittently over the course of a day, powder eliminates shine. Wrinkles are minimized and skin looks youthful and polished.
NIGHT-The key after dark is to intensify--especially with a "bold, deeply colored lipstick." Again, redistribute foundation with a dry sponge and press translucent powder into skin with a puff to keep complexion "young" and shine-free.
