On March 3, 1987 Michelle opened Salon 21 and made a pledge that Salon 21 would be of service to the Los Angeles communities. She started her commitment to keeping the Los Angeles communities beautiful and healthy and remains fully committed.
As artist, beauty consultant and educator, Michelle's artistic vision has ensured a successful career and a satisfied clientele. Salon 21, a hair, makeup and healthy lifestyle salon specializes in hair care, precision cutting, contemporary hair designs, facial waxing, and make-overs for the well-groomed woman plus provides skin care and color cosmetic classes.
Salon 21 offers a retail center, promoting beauty products from shampoos to satin pillow cases plus journals, bookmarks, note cards, fun and creative gifts and gift sets.
In 1994, Michelle established The Wellness Group, a non-profit 501c(3) health awareness organization. Their mission is to educate, inform and empower women on breast cancer and a healthy lifestyle.

The Beauty Connection
Summer 1990 was the first issue of Salon 21’s newsletter “The Beauty Connection.” January 2002 was the first issue of the e-mail newsletter, which is published monthly offering beauty advice, health tips, information on makeovers, client profiles and more.
